How to watch video on one monitor and work on another monitor in VLC on OS X
- Open Preferences.
- Click the All radio button in the bottom left.
- Open the Video sub-menu on the left hand side.
- Open the Output Modules sub-menu of the Video menu.
- Click on MacOSX.
- Untick the Back Screens In Fullscreen checkbox.
- Click the Save button on the bottom right.
